Getting Started

Getting started with MetaViewer is easy. Follow these simple steps to begin analysing and improving your site's metadata directly within Framer.

1. Open the Plugin: find MetaViewer on the Framer Marketplace and click “Open in Framer” — or launch it directly from your canvas.
2. Buy a License: to unlock the Premium tabs, you’ll need a license. Follow the steps inside the plugin or buy it here.
3. Activate Your License: after purchase, you’ll get an email from Polar with your License Key. Copy it and paste it into the plugin to activate.
4. Publish Your Site: MetaViewer analyses the published version of your site. If you make changes, publish again and click “Refresh” in the plugin to see the updates.

Features

MetaViewer is organised into several tabs, each designed to give you specific insights into your page's SEO.

Overview

This is your main dashboard. It provides a summary of your page's most critical SEO elements:

• Meta Title: The title of your page that appears in search engine results.
• Meta Description: The short description that appears under your title in search results.

Headings (Premium)

This tab shows you the complete heading structure of your page (H1, H2, H3, etc.). A logical heading structure is crucial for both search engines and accessibility.

✅ Ensure you have only one H1 tag and that your headings follow a logical order (e.g., an H3 doesn't come before an H2).
